Stop press: The Reggae Reggae Cookbook rules have changed

Stop press. Stop the presses. Halt! Stop them! For heaven's sake someone press the big red button! What d'you mean it doesn't work? Well pull the plug out then!

The magical fairies that do the 'public relations' for the Reggae Reggae Cookbook have alerted us to the fact that their competition has been extended!

You have now got until midnight on the 28th of July to enter their competition to win £500 in Asda vouchers (or 335 bottles of RRS).

All you have to do is join their group, which is conveniently located just about right here.

Good luck!

Reggae Reggae Sauce song lyrics

Lots of people come here searching for the lyrics to the Reggae Reggae Sauce song, aka Proper Tings.

We've looked on Google and it's generally tough to get a decent answer. So here it is, just for you:

Put some music in my food for me, and give me some Reggae Reggae Sauce. Hot Reggae Reggae Sauce.

It’s so nice I had to name it twice - I called it Reggae Reggae Sauce. Reggae Reggae Sauce!

Just like my baby it’s the perfect delight. It’s got some peppers ‘n’ and some herbs ‘n’ spice.

Me want some Reggae Reggae Sauce. Hot Reggae Reggae Sauce.

So nice with your fried chicken. Makes burgers finger lickin’.

And your rice ‘n’ peas ‘n’ fish... Put some Reggae Reggae Sauce on your dish!

Good work Levi. 'Nuff respect!

Viscosity: A warning

This is what happens when you pick up your bottle of Reggae Reggae Sauce thinking it's your bottle of Love Apple Sauce.

Expecting the creamy gloopiness of Love Apple you will, instead, be faced with the keen runniness of RRS. Your angle of approach will be all wrong due to the miscalculation of latent viscosity. As a result, you'll get a river of jerk instead of the dainty dollop of tomato you were expecting.

Our advice? Go with it, cowboy. Waste not, want not. In this instance, fate has dealt you a new deck. It's your destiny to play the hand.

Win £500 with the new Reggae Reggae Cookbook!

The nice people at the new Reggae Reggae Cookbook have sent us an email, alerting us to the opportunity to win £500 in Asda vouchers - purely by joining their Facebook group!

Become a fan of the Reggae Reggae Cookbook by joining their group before this Monday at midnight and you'll be in for a chance of winning.

If you need any more incentive to join, £500 gets you 335 bottles of RRS. That would do us for a WHOLE MONTH.

In related news, Rachael (who sent us the nice note) says her recommendation for a Reggae Reggae Recipe is "tofu, peppers and courgettes stirfried in Reggae Reggae Sauce, with a big helping of sweet potato mash". Very Glastonbury Rachael! (We think you're a closet hippy.)

Guava sighting

Fiery Guava Dipping Sauce is a rare sight indeed.
